1. Edith and Mary having a heart to heart before the ceremony. Edith apologizing for sending the letter and admitting she was jealous of all the attention Mary was getting from Matthew. Mary telling her that Edith shouldn’t marry just anyone who will take her, because she is very lovely and some real gentlemen will notice.
Cue all the crying.
2. Robert doing a little dance while waiting for Cora to get ready because he is so happy Mary’s marrying someone who deserves her.
3. Carson being all proud and teary-eyed and giving a nod to Matthew when he’s standing in the front waiting for Mary.
4. Carson talking to Matthew before the wedding, telling him that he was always rooting for him, and also that he might be an old man but he still knows how to inflict pain, should Mary be treated badly in any way.
